Since the last posting HalfCar and crew have been through the freezingish temps Yosemite in the fall and the torrential winds of Death Valley (where it rained just a tad on our way out, go figure); check out our photos section to see that stuff. For almost the entire month of December the boys worked and lived in fabulous Las Vegas (it’s fabulous if you have money!) finally abandoning their upscale life to return to the road and live instead in Colorado for two weeks. The past few days have seen the Half Car parked in Lincoln New Mexico as well as spooky Roswell where aliens deigned not to abduct its wayward occupants. Tombstone proved rather touristy (photos coming soon) and currently the Car is living near Tucson AZ where the boys will once again be looking to whore themselves out in that endless currency chase we all appear to beholden to. More to come and sich.
As the name implies our movements are about as predictable as a nursing home that just ran out of prune juice. From Seattle to Portland, round the Olympic peninsula, and as far east as exotic Wenatchee we’ve covered a bit of ground in Washington State (oh, and Portland). Having traveled south through Bend OR, spent time squatching in the Six Rivers forest, and visited the peregrine world of San Francisco, the HalfCar car is currently parked in Californi, Just outside of the Sequoia national forest. Through freezing temps and drenching rain, up mildly steep paths and waiting upwards of 25 minutes for an In’n’out burger, the Half-Car crew remains committed to living in mild discomfort to bring all of you news and stories from beyond your domicile. And some goofy shit too.
We don’t have a plan so I can’t say at this juncture what our next stop is; you’ll have to fu*#ing guess. But rest assured that wherever we end up it will be an inordinate amount of time before our internet connectivity and motivation cross paths again long enough to report in.
